Privacy policy

Last updated 2026-07-01

This policy explains what HomeCare Compass collects, how we use it, and your choices. We keep it short and plain, because that is the point.

Information you give us

When you send a request through the site, you provide details such as your name, contact information, and the kind of care you are looking for. We use that information for one purpose: to pass your request to the home care agency you asked about, so they can respond to you. We do not sell your personal information.

How requests are handled

Our request forms are processed by a third-party form service that delivers your message to us and to the relevant agency. Once an agency receives your request, their own privacy practices govern how they handle your information, so review the agency's policy if that matters to you.

Information collected automatically

Like most websites, we may use basic analytics to understand how the site is used, such as which pages are visited and roughly where visitors come from. This helps us improve the directory. The data is aggregated and is not used to identify you personally. You can block analytics and advertising cookies through your browser settings.

Service providers

We rely on a small number of providers to run the site, including our website host, our form processor, and our analytics provider. They process data only to deliver those services.

Your choices

You can ask what information we hold about you, or ask us to correct or delete it, by emailing hello@homecarecompass.ca. We operate in Ontario, Canada, and handle personal information in line with Canadian privacy law.

Changes

We may update this policy as the site grows. The date above reflects the most recent change.
